We're All About Service...

Because of the shorter life span of our pets, we stress the importance of twice a year physical examinations. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your cats' complete health care needs.

Client Education:  We believe strongly in a unified approach to patient care.  By educating our clients about diseases, preventative and wellness care and why we offer the services we do, they can make informed decisions about their cat's care.  They will add more to their pet's life through educated decisions and care.

Anesthesia and Surgical Services: Prior to anesthesia, we conduct complete pre-anesthetic diagnostics in order to help assess each patient's general health.  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Our state-of-the-art surgical suite enables us to carefully monitor our patient's vital signs constantly during and after all anesthetic procedures.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site, Digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize referral veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Boarding:   Our Ward Room enables us to provide a safe and peaceful environment with natural sounds for your cat while you are away, and allows for separation from our daily flow of patients.  Our boarding services are limited to patients with advanced medical needs who otherwise cannot be maintained at a regular boarding facility.  Because of this we are able to extend this service only to cats that are presently under the medical supervision of our staff veterinarians.  We request that you provide us with emergency contact information while you are away so that you can be notified of any additional medical needs. Space is limited, so please make your reservations well in advance.  Fees are based on the specific needs of each patient and the selection of accommodation.

Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification and recommend it for all of our patients.  If your cat already has a microchip, remind us to scan the chip at each visit to confirm that it is working properly.

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of vitamins and supplements, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your cat. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.

Individualized Parasite Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your cat and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your cat.  All cats are at risk for heartworm disease, intestinal parasites, fleas, and ticks whether they are indoor only or go outside.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your cat's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as chewing, spraying, scratching and aggression.  We'll work with you to compile a complete history and determine recommendations in order to differentiate between health issues and behavior problems.
